Pool Disciplinary Action

Taking proper disciplinary action when there have been infractions/violation of the pool rules has been a necessary step for the ABHOA Board to impose.

The common areas of Arbor Bridge Swim and Tennis, which include the pool and adjacent play/athletic areas are for the enjoyment of all HOA members. The schedule of infractions is necessary to preserve the safety and pleasant recreational environment for everyone.

The Lifeguard has the authority to enforce all pool rules while on duty. The lifeguard’s directions shall be followed promptly without argument. A violation of pool rules, which endangers the safety of self or others or is deemed as inappropriate behavior will result in the following actions:

  • 1st Offense - The violator will be ordered out of the pool for a period of time, up to 24 hours, to be determined at the discretion of the lifeguard.
  • 2nd Offense – the violator will be suspended from the pool area for a period of time not to exceed a week. The lifeguard will record the offense and contact the pool manager and the Pool Committee who will then inform the parents.

The lifeguard’s decisions and directives are final, pending review and approval of the Pool Committee. A disagreement regarding conduct or enforcement of the pool rules must be appealed to the Pool Committee & ABHOA Board.
